We offer various extra activities to the Montessori classes in our “Mon Ami” Montessori Center., It can be rhythm, English, chess, art studio classes and others.
English language
The bilingual education system is prevalent abroad, even from the toddler age of a child. Research shows that a child can master two languages during sensitive speech development (from 1 to 7 years old). Of course, some special conditions should be created for that. During the sensitive period of speech development, there is no need to repeat, memorize the grammar rules, and construct sentences. Children learn their native language through communication naturally. The use of a bilingual education system contributes to the early differentiation of languages. A 4 years old child can simply switch the native language to a foreign one, and his English speech will be used according to the rules and is lexically correct.
In our kindergarten, we start to provide an English environment from the age of 3. Children communicate with our teacher in English every day and also in a group of English lessons. Using two languages naturally at the same time allows us to achieve comprehensive development by the age of 5-6 and form two language systems – Russian and English.
Art Studio
Every year people create more and more programs that make the adaptation of preschoolers’ life more comfortable. Children learn to see themselves and find a convenient way to communicate and express their emotions and desires.
One of these areas is our art studio, which helps children express their emotions and feelings through modeling, drawing, or constructing something from natural materials. We believe that a person observes his wholeness, originality and individuality through the images.

Chess
Chess lessons are excellent for mental activity development, analytical and logical thinking. The child assimilates information better, trains memory, and learns to think forward, which helps him solve some problematic tasks in the future. Moreover, chess teaches discipline and responsibility because it’s needed to be focused entirely on the game. Also, chess helps a child to be more patient.
Music
Music lessons are essential for children. Thanks to the music, we can develop such skills as memory, attention, thinking, coordination of movements and aesthetic perception of the world.
Also, music forms auditory ideas, sense of rhythm, timbre and dynamics.
When children learn to play some musical instruments at an early age, they will develop many skills. For example, piano lessons give some health benefits that will be used in the future.
It has been proven that children who learn to play the piano are better at using computers and can easily understand the concepts of physics and mathematics.
Also, the piano playing makes the child’s personality and image more harmonious.
Kids have a good discipline understanding, and you can notice that they are more organized than other children. They understand that their hard work and dedication will lead to success in the future.
We provide private piano lessons in our center. The lesson includes teaching to play a musical instrument, studying musical notation, solfeggio, ear development and musical literature.
